Effort & Attitude = Results
Our travel teams are for players that are serious about lacrosse and want to take their game to the next level but not at the expense of spending quality time with family and friends. You will learn and develop new skills, strategies and techniques that are used by the top programs in the country and that college coaches are looking for in new recruits.
At Origins Lacrosse Club, we have in mind the best interests of our athletes while maintaining a commitment to fielding strong teams. We work the mind and the body with a dynamic style that is both realistic and challenging, giving close attention to the proper techniques and mechanics that are essential for success. Our programs of individual skill instruction, game situation drills, and scrimmaging will benefit everyone, from new players to those who want to play at the highest level.
We believe lacrosse is a lifestyle, but also know at the end of the day it must be fun, and the Warhawks will offer the tools young lacrosse players need to take their game to the next level but also keep their enjoyment of the game.
Origins LC Select Curriculum
The Origins LC Curriculum is the organizational structure guiding our teams. The Curriculum maps out all practice plans, pre-game routines, and in-game strategies to ensure that each team receives the same excellent level of preparation. Warhawks emphasizes an aggressive and unselfish play style on offense and a cohesive defense based on communication and slides, with a team-first attitude through clearly defined roles.
We develop and coach our players in a proven system with results to back it up. Warhawks is designed to allow players to get maximum development and enjoyment without requiring the resources and high-level commitments that other travel teams require.
Culture
Warhawks is designed specially to cultivate a positive player base through positive coaching. High-level coaches look at skills, but the difference between two players can come down to character. Through developing players in their skills as well as their work ethic, determination, and mental toughness on and off the field, we desire to create the most well-rounded players in the country.
Recruiting
Origins LC has always set itself apart by focusing on development over the scoreboard, which means that players who want to go further in their lacrosse careers can do so. Our success in this shows as we currently boast a 98% recruitment rate amongst our players! With high-level connections and current collegiate players offering their advice on how to best be seen, each player will be given an equal opportunity to play at the next level.
Playing time
Warhawks is a competitive program. However, this does not come at the cost of playing time for each player. In order to give each member of the team an equal chance at showcasing their talent to collegiate coaches, everyone on the team will be given playing time, so there's no need to worry about not being seen.
GO HAWKS!
Here is a list of some of the young men and women that have taken their game to the next level that we have been fortunate of to be a small part of their journey. We know it takes a village to raise a lacrosse player and want to recognize everyone that is part of each student athlete's journey. Parents, coaches, teammates, family, teachers, mentors the list goes on!
