Coach Ken started playing lacrosse in 1981 as freshmen at the Illinois powerhouse New Trier High School in Winnetka Illinois. In college Coach Ken was a 4 year starter and captain of the Illinois State University Lacrosse Team. Because the team was new Coach Ken used this opportunity to begin his career in coaching by teaching his fellow teammates.
After college he continued to play for the highly competitive post collegiate team Lincoln Park from 1990 until moving to Indiana in 2009. While in Illinois he coached Varsity and JV players at Glenbrook North & Highland Park High Schools. In 1999 & 2000 he was selected to coach Team Illinois Varsity, which had winning tournament records at the Vail Colorado tournament. Ken’s biggest accomplishment was to be one of a handful of dedicated coaches and lacrosse enthusiasts that grew Illinois lacrosse from just 7 high school teams to a state sanctioned sport with over 8,000 male and female athletes playing at all levels from 1st grade thru adult.
From 1992 until 2008 Coach Ken was the GM of Lacrosse America, one of the largest and most successful lacrosse programs that ran instructional and competitive programs in Illinois. Athletes coached by Ken have gone on to play professionally and at colleges such as Syracuse, Duke, Denver, Ohio State, Yale, Cornell, Harvard, Army, Loyola, North Carolina, Ohio Wesleyan, Georgetown, Notre Dame and many other established lacrosse programs. Even the 2006 Indiana High School coach of the year was coached by the Hoosier Lacrosse director.
In 2007 Coach Ken moved to Indiana and quickly got involved in the local lacrosse scene and in 2008 he founded Origins Lacrosse Club. Coach Ken is dedicated to help grow the sport in Indiana and is excited by the enthusiasm of the players and their parents. He lives in Westfield with his 2 children Brook and Zachary.

After seeing lacrosse for years on television, Drew first picked up a stick during the summer before 8th grade. He played and coached under Chicago lacrosse legend Rich Martin, making the varsity team at Libertyville High School during his sophomore year. In high school he also had the opportunity to travel and play with the Illinois state team before his senior season, after which he played in the state all-star game. Drew went on to play in the Centennial Conference, the best in Division III, with the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats. Returning to Chicago, he took up the helm at Lane Tech High School, the first high school team in the city of Chicago. Blessed with young men of talent and dedication, Lane went from being a winless program to a team that scored several upsets of successful suburban programs en route to winning Coach Bogan the Illinois High School Coach of the Year award in 2001. Lane Tech continued to be competitive under Coach Bogan, producing four NCAA lacrosse players and more than a dozen state all-stars during his tenure. Drew has continued to play lacrosse as well, winning multiple championships in the DILL (a Chicago box lacrosse league) and competing first for Lincoln Park Lacrosse Club and more recently for Windy City Lacrosse Club. He and his wife moved from downtown Chicago to Indianapolis in the summer of 2013, marking the first time in his life Drew has called anywhere but Chicagoland home. Lacrosse has blessed me in so many ways. I have made many dear friends in both the playing and the coaching ranks, and I have had the honor and privilege of coaching some fine young men and then watching them grow into adulthood and serve others as coaches, policemen, firemen, soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, teachers, and more. I have faced obstacles and challenges, enjoyed exhilarating victories and suffered agonizing defeats. I have been inspired by my players, humbled by my competition, and educated by my mentors. Lacrosse has taken me to Chicago’s inner-city alleys, to the mountains of Colorado, to the bayous of Louisiana, and to places all across the country. The opportunities this game has afforded me are too many and too valuable to put into words.
